Fall

Fall has been really pretty here this year - the colors of the leaves have been more vibrant and there is a lot more red. We have been very lucky with the weather - a little breezy at times but still great weather to be outdoors and no hard freezes yet. In hopes of a beautiful spring and summer, I have planted 60 tulip bulbs, 16 hyacinth bulbs, 60 crocus bulbs and 8 iris. Still have 8 more iris to plant tomorrow.

Thanksgiving, 2005

It would have been great to have been at Margaret's Thanksgiving extravaganza but schedules didn't permit. However, we had a very nice Thanksgiving dinner with friends G&T. Pat was the cutter, dicer, slicer, Terry fixed the cranberry sauce and beans, George fixed the pumpkin pie and provided the pre-prandial champagne and Cynthia fixed the turkey, dressing and mashed potatoes and gravy. A relaxed day and an excellent meal by candlelight as the sun set.
