A week ago, when I was in Dallas I met Courtney and Tim for supper (unfortunately, Ann was in Austin); it was great to see them both and a real treat to be able to talk to Courtney who is an intern at Nieman-Marcus. And I am now the proud possessor of one of Ann's business cards - Margaret was the only one that got one at KL's b'day party. Ann has sold the picture on the business card. After work on Friday, on to Austin to see all of the Churchetts. Saturday was E&D's wedding anniversary - Jonathan was really sweet when E opened her card - he read the card and sighed and said "It feels like my anniversary". In the afternoon, we went to Jonathan's soccer game which turned out to be a lot of fun to watch; Kayleigh duty at the soccer game was also interesting - she bolts off in all sorts of directions. After soccer, E&D went to a movie and I went back to the house with J&K and Jennifer, Stepan and Magda. It was fun to have some individual time with the Rihas. After they left and supper was over, Kayleigh fell asleep on my shoulder and she was asleep in bed when her parents got home. Sunday, I drove back to DFW to catch a flight to St. Louis. Pat arrived at the Churchetts Sunday afternoon after going to his umpteenth high school class reunion in W.F. E&D had a real adult evening on Tuesday when they went out to eat and Jennifer kept J&K. Pat drove to Houston on Wed. where he saw his sibs and then the long drive home on Thursday. Leah arrives this afternoon for a long weekend visit.
