Pat & I were talking with Kitty Lou last night and hearing more stories of her family and pre-married days. When she worked in Columbus, OH she lived at the Y for awhile and then moved with two other girls to a residence hotel called the St. Francis. KL said the hotel receptionist once said to her "You're the nicest bad girl I've ever met". We tried to find out why the receptionist said that but didn't get any good information. She did date a fellow from England while she was there and quit dating him because she found out he was married. Her boss at the time found out she was living at the St. Francis and told her that was not a good place for a nice girl to live - apparently had a reputation for quick stays.

Hallo Cynthia,
here in Germany we say:
Dem Reinen ist alles rein.
I donīt know how to translate this right. But it says: A good girl is everytime a good girl. Egal where she lives. Tell this to KL.

Or, by "quick stays" did you mean "quickies"?

Yes! But KL was not paying an hourly rate.
