Ladies Week in Destin

Thanks to Kathleen, seven of the Karl sisters and sisters-in-law and two nieces gathered in Destin, Florida where the beaches really are fine, white sand and the water is really emerald. We were sorry not all of the Karl+ ladies were able to be there but hopefully next time.

It was a wonderful week - Deep sea fishing enjoyed by all but me (who had previously been deep sea fishing but did not enjoy it) and after catching bunches of fish we all enjoyed part of their catch of the day fixed for them at a local restaurant on the bay. Visiting Seaside - a planned community but probably most famous for having "The Truman Show" filmed there. We admired and drooled over some of the beautiful objet d'art we saw in the stores and had a memorable lunch at "Fermentations". In addition to the sight seeing - great meals fixed by Jackie and Felicia with assistance from all, lots of laughter, discussions, sitting on the top deck of the beach house and sipping "Liquid Love" (purchased at Fermentations) and remembering the slogan of the week - "What happens in Destin, stays in Destin".

Kathleen:

She is not telling everything...We had a fabulous time. So much laughter!

Theresa:

Cynthia...Your last sentence speaks volumes. What are you not telling??
