There is an HBO Movie "Iron Jawed Angels" that is well worth watching if you have access to HBO. (I watched it in a hotel in Iowa City.) It is about the women's suffrage movement and one of their leaders, Alice Paul. It was a very well done movie and brought home the dedication of the women that struggled to gain the right to vote. It is easy to forget that our mothers or grandmothers were born before women could cast a ballot.

I just couldn't find Elizabeth's email so I thought I could post this for all. There is an excellent music site for kids called SFSkids.org/ made by the San Francisco Symphony that Jonathon would probably enjoy. I've had about 80 kids think it's "the best", so give it a whirl.

I saw the movie this week and wrote about it in the Tex in the city Blog too! I really liked it too. FYI, Texas was the 9th state to ratify the amendment.

I saw most of that movie. It is very good. Hillary Swank was excellent in it. They should be all of our (females) heroes.
