Flannel Sheets

The flannel sheets are on the bed and they really feel warm and cozy when the weather is below freezing outside, which it has been for over a week. We have about 5 inches of snow on the ground from the two snowfalls. Pat attached the blade to the garden tractor so he can do some driveway clearing. I walked up to get the mail Friday and Saturday - as long as the wind is not blowing, it is pleasant.

The turkeys are back or at least we can see them again - don't know why we don't see them walking around in the spring, summer and fall. Anyone that wants a "real" Christmas turkey can have easy pickings - there are about 17 of them and they look like they're big fellows.

Cynthia:

Nupe - you have to come put on your Annie Oakley clothes (or Ma Kettle clothes), tote your firearm and shoot him yourself - maybe John will clean him for you!

Kathleen:

B-r-r-r!!!! Sounds too cold for this "Winter Wimp" but I'll take one turkey, please. You can bill me for the postage.
