Mystery of the Red Scarf

We found a long red, flannel neck scarf hanging on our hall coat stand. On one edge it has U.S.A. and then the Olympic symbol. We have no idea how long it has been on the coat hook, because it could have been buried under a coat and it is a rare thing that we clear off the coat stand. Neither of us can recall seeing it before - anybody have any idea who it belongs too?

P&C:

No - it had to be someone that was here during cold weather. The scarf your mother lost was one from Ireland.

Kathleen:

Did you ever discover who owned the red scarf?

Rita:

Mother lost a scarf. Could it be the same one? She had me search my house throughout looking for it. She would love it if it turns out to be the one she lost.
