Remembering Mother

The number of friends and family that have extended their condolences has been very heartwarming. There was also one from Hot Springs, AR that sent an e-mail to the funeral home site (it was in the Lawrence paper) who had met Mother when her mother was at the retirement center. I have certainly appreciated everyone's kind thoughts and words and hopefully in some dimension somewhere Mother is also appreciating them.

My mother told me about the recent death of your mother. I extend to you my condolences. I remember your mother well. She was always interesting to talk with - I will never forget her wonderful Christmas offerings - expecially those bright red spiced apples - Delicious, and I don't particularly care for spiced apples. They were THAT good. I hope you will recall wonderful memories whenever you are touched by the sadness of her absense.
