I was at Mayo Clinic for a couple of days this week. It is an amazing place - if there were no Mayo Clinic there would be no Rochester, MN. The hospital complex is downtown and all of the buildings are linked by foot subway and skywalks. Several hotels, a small galleria and speciality stores are also linked to this maze of walkways. It was minus 2 degrees F. when I arrived but other than the ariport/shuttle/hotel part, I was never outside - a luxury groundhog experience.

Okay, okay, so now everyone knows I skim over the subject heading. It was late at night too. Not much of an excuse, but it's all I have (other than the margaritas imbibed earlier in the evening in celebration of our friend Andy's arrival)!

Also, one would assume that Cynthia wouldn't spring any health problems on us via the journal. At least one of us would warrant a phone call, wouldn't we?

Perhaps it would have been a good idea to preface your blog entry with the fact that it was for your work, or something . . . anything to signal to the reader that your presence at the Mayo Clinic was innocuous. Don't give me a heart attack in my thirties!
